India may not constantly have had a population of over a billion people, yet the subcontinent has constantly been home to lots of religions, ethnic cultures and realms, so there is much more than one tale here of LGBTQ+ civil liberties and acknowledgment. In general, however, India was historically forgiving of LGBTQ+ connections, with the exceptio
